Cocktail Mix Studio collects no personal data. There is no user account, no server, no internet connection, and no analytics, advertising or tracking service of any kind. Everything you record stays on your device.
What follows explains that claim in detail, because a claim like this should be verifiable rather than merely believed.
Cocktail Mix Studio stores the information you enter on your own device:
All of it is stored solely in your device's memory, inside the app's private area. Ingeniería del Software ISEnet, S.L. has no access to that information: we do not receive it, do not store it and cannot retrieve it. There is no Cocktail Mix Studio server for it to be sent to.
One direct consequence: if you delete the app, that data is gone, and we cannot restore it. It is included in your device's backup like any other app's data, and you can also export it to a file yourself from Settings.
The recipe catalogue, the chapters and the illustrations are not your data: they ship inside the app and are the same for everyone.
Cocktail Mix Studio makes no network connections at all. There are no calls to our servers or to anyone else's, no content downloads and no data uploads. The recipe catalogue travels inside the app as bundled data, and the app works exactly the same in aeroplane mode.
The app contains no third-party libraries or components: it is built entirely on Apple's own frameworks. In particular, it includes no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, attribution or audience measurement system, and it does not access the device's advertising identifier or request app tracking permission.
It is also free, with no in-app purchases, no subscription and no advertising. There is no payment to process and no account to create.
Cocktail Mix Studio declares three permissions, and asks for each only at the exact moment it is needed. All three are optional: declining any of them leaves the rest of the app working.
| Permission | When it is requested | What for |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Only when you open the shelf scanner, or take a photo for one of your own recipes | Reading the labels on your bottles, and photographing your drinks. The image is analysed on your device |
| Microphone | Only when you turn on voice commands during guided mixing | Recognising four commands: next, back, repeat and pause |
| Speech recognition | At the same moment as the microphone | Turning that audio into one of those four commands |
Two things worth stating plainly about the last two. The recognition is configured to run on the device, and it is active only while the guided mixing screen is open with voice commands switched on. Nothing is recorded, nothing is stored and nothing is transmitted: the audio is turned into a word, the word is matched against those four commands, and it is discarded.
The app also uses two system mechanisms that require granting it no permission at all:
The scanner reads the labels in a photograph of your shelf and suggests ingredients to add to your bar.
When you add a photograph to one of your own recipes, Cocktail Mix Studio resizes it and saves it without its original metadata, including GPS location.
This is deliberate, and worth explaining: a photo of a drink taken at home has your home's coordinates embedded in it. Keeping them would put your address into the app's library and into every backup you export. The app discards them before writing the file, and there is an automated test in the project that verifies this on every build.
The app lets you take your data out in two ways.
cocktail-mix-mis-datos.json file. It contains your preferences, your saved recipes with their notes and ratings, your bars and their contents, your shopping lists and your own recipes..cocktailmix file. Catalogue recipes are not exported this way; they can be shared as text or as an image. In fairness, three kinds of processing exist that are not under the app's control:
Cocktail Mix Studio is a reference application about alcoholic drinks, intended for adults, and it is rated accordingly in the App Store. It is not directed at children and it collects no data from anyone, of any age. Since there is no data collection, there is no processing of children's data.
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) grants you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right not to be subject to automated decision-making.
About your bar and recipe data we have to be precise: we cannot give you access to it, rectify it or erase it, because we do not have it. This is not a refusal — that information never leaves your device and does not exist in any system of ours. You can exercise that control yourself, and more completely than we could:
| What you want | How to do it |
|---|---|
| See all your data | It is in the app. You can export it to a file from Settings |
| Port it to another device | Restore the new device from your backup, or export your own recipes as files |
| Rectify any item | By editing the corresponding record in the app |
| Erase it entirely | From Settings, "Delete all my data", or by uninstalling the app |
As for the data we do process — an email you send us — you may exercise all your rights by writing to mobile@isenet.es. We will reply within the one-month period set by the GDPR. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), or with your own national supervisory authority.
Cocktail Mix Studio does not build profiles and makes no automated decisions about people.
The app compares what you have in your bar against the recipes in its catalogue and tells you what you could make. It also turns a phrase you type into search filters. Both calculations run on your device, concern drinks rather than you, and are only ever suggestions.
None take place. There is no transfer of data to third countries because there is no transfer of data at all.
The app's data is stored in its private container, protected by the operating system and by device encryption when the device has a passcode set. Since there is no transmission and no server-side storage, the risk surface associated with those does not exist either.
The part that is on you: the file you export is not password-encrypted. Store it somewhere you trust.
If something fails, the app shows an error screen with a short diagnostic you can copy and send us if you ask for help. It contains six items and only six: the app version and build, the iOS version, the device model, your language, the state of the installed catalogue, and the code of the last error.
Two points that matter:
The diagnostic does not include your recipes, your notes, your bar, your lists or any photograph. The screen says so on the screen itself.
The app's data stays on your device until you delete it, either record by record, with "Delete all my data" in Settings, or by uninstalling the app. There is no automatic expiry and no clean-up on our part, because we are not involved.
If a future version of Cocktail Mix Studio changes what it processes — for instance, if it ever gained syncing or any online feature — we will update this policy before releasing that version, change the date in the header and describe what changed. Earlier versions of the policy remain applicable to anyone who does not update.
This policy is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and by Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights.
