In short

Kart Chassis Setup collects no personal data. It has no user account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. What you enter stays on your device or, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud. The app uses your location only when you ask it to recognise the circuit, and it does so on the device: the position is never sent anywhere.

What follows explains each point in detail.

1. What stays on your device

Your karts and drivers, your chassis setups, the track conditions you enter, your notes and your preferences are stored on your device, in the app's private area. We do not receive them and cannot access them.

2. Your location, and only when you ask for the circuit

When you tap “Detect circuit”, the app asks iOS for your position once (the “while using the app” permission) and compares it on your device with the list of circuits built into the app, to suggest the nearest one. The position is not sent to us or to anyone, and it is not stored. It is never requested in the background. If you do not grant the permission, you pick the circuit from the list and the app works the same.

3. Syncing through your iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, your karts and saved sessions and some settings are synced between your devices through your own private iCloud database (CloudKit) and iCloud key-value storage. That data is stored by Apple in your iCloud account: we have no access to it and cannot read it, change it or recover it. You can turn it off for this app with the switch in the app or in the iCloud settings of iOS.

4. Sharing a session with your mechanic

When you choose to share a session, the app makes a link of the form https://www.isenet.es/c/kcs/#…, a file or a QR code. The session travels inside the link, after the # sign: browsers never send that part to the server, so even when the link is opened in a browser our website does not receive the session; the page decodes it on the device that opens it. The link goes only where you send it, and it contains the session's pressures, temperatures, conditions, tyre, advice and circuit: no names, no notes and no position. Whoever receives it sees a preview, and nothing is applied on its own.

5. Widgets and Apple Watch

The widgets and the Apple Watch app show the target pressure and the tyre temperatures of the app. The data travels between the app, its widgets and your watch on your devices (a shared app area and Apple's watch connection), not through any server of ours.

6. The “More apps” screen

If you open the screen with our other apps, the app downloads that list from www.isenet.es. The request carries only the app's name, the language and the platform, so the list comes in your language; no personal data. Our server records those three values and the date. The icons are downloaded from the same server.

7. If you write to us or report a problem

“Report a problem” and the contact options open an email in your own mail app, addressed to us. Along with your message it includes the app version, the device model, the iOS version and the app's current settings, which help us reproduce what you see. You see all of it before sending, and nothing is sent unless you send it.

We use your email address and your message only to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering those who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep those emails as long as needed to resolve the matter and do not use them to send you marketing.

8. Ratings

The app may ask you to rate it using Apple's standard rating prompt. Your rating and review are handled by Apple; we receive nothing from that prompt apart from what is published on the App Store.

9. What the app does not do

Older versions of the app, published before 2026, included the Flurry Analytics SDK (Yahoo), which sent anonymous usage events. It has been removed: current versions do not include it.

10. Permissions, and what each is for

You can withdraw any of them at any time in the iOS Settings app.

11. Who else is involved

12. Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone beyond what is described above.

13. Your rights

The GDPR gives you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. What is stored on your device or in your iCloud is under your control: you can change or delete it in the app, or by uninstalling it.

To exercise any right, or for any question, write to mobile@isenet.es. We will reply within the one-month period set by the GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with your own national authority.

14. Changes to this policy

If a version of the app changes what it sends or to whom, we will update this policy before releasing it and change the date at the top.

15. Governing law

This policy is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and by Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights.
